In practice, questions from regulars shape what gets written next about SEO, judging by the mail more than any keyword tool does. Realistically, half of what we write about SEO started as a question from a visitor, clearly.

Questions we get
Put simply, we answer SEO questions in plain words, even when the frank answer is “it depends”. Honestly, if your SEO question is not covered here, it probably deserves its own walkthrough — send it in a reply the same week. As a rule, no question about SEO is too basic for us; the basic ones are the ones first-timers while nodding along have.
- In short, our guides get revisited regularly, not only when a person reading this complains.
- On balance, the pieces carry our name, so anything we would not tell a reader in person does not go into print.
- No article on SEO goes out on the strength of one source; we want the boring detail first.
- As a rule, our routine is unglamorous: read, verify ourselves, cut whatever we cannot support.
Our way of working
Broadly, if a SEO claim here cannot be traced to receipts rather than vibes, it does not go into the guide. On balance, we would rather publish one unvarnished rundown on SEO than five that pad a word count. Put simply, everything we publish about SEO we read again before it goes live, and revisit every time the picture moves.
